Grizzlies force Cardiacs to take their medicine

 

Floppsy still AWOL, Killa in the field, Big Nob in WA meant that the Grizzlie line up was:

Cheesey, Green Togs, Max, Ned and Martian

Gaffers, Lynchy, Scotty and Crusty

With Horney away for the Cardiacs their back line was weakened and their constant promises of having recruited well and going to be competitive this season are about as meaningful as Kevin Rudd saying sorry. We went at them and they had no answers. Lynchy and Martian pushed up hard, Hartian using his power and Lynchy his manoeuvrability. Gaffers and the other backs were playing as forwards and just constantly recycling the puck to put it back into their back back lane until finally the puck went in. Cheesey had a good night bagging 4 but everyone managed to get in on the action on this occasion. Sadly the Cardiacs failed to deliver but we're going to have to play better than that if we're going to win the pennant.

Pub was only so so again but Mykonos was great.
