Grizzlies cop a beating but win the game

This week saw the Grizzlies take on the second D grade team to move into the Premiere League so we weren't sure what to expect. The Grizzlie line up was:

Cheesey, Ned, Max, Martian and Killa
Crusty, Big Nob, Lynchy and Gaffers (I think)

Well to be honest we weren't expecting too much competition although any D grade team has the potential to be skinny, fit and sometime skillfull but we weren't overly concerned. Until Pud pulled on the red hat and glove and got into the water. After that it was all downhill. We played a reasonable game but Pud's right arm got a bigger work out than when Bay Watch re-runs are on, thrashing around above the water like a great white had a good hold on his scrummy body.
